Monday, August 22nd from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Brown Memorial Library, come learn about the bats in our belfry!  Yes, bats have been known to roost in the library attic, so this is a great program to find out about these very unique and ecologically important critters.  Adults and children will be introduced to a live Big Brown Bat, and the presenter will help dispel common myths and misinformation about bats, while illustrating the role of bats in ecosystems from the Maine woods to the South American rain forests.
