Baldwin Historical Society 20th Anniversary Dinner 26 Jan 13

The BHS will celebrate its 20th Anniversary with a pot luck dinner Saturday January 26 at 4:30PM in the community room at the Brown Memorial Library in East Baldwin.  The featured speaker will be Kurt Olafsen.

Guests are Welcome;

Baldwin Historical Society Has Genealogies on Many Local Families

The Baldwin Historical Society has genealogy info on many long time Baldwin families.  Some family data is quite extensive, others is just bits and pieces,  but the data may help someone to find a missing link in their family history.  The families with more extensive info are:

Black, Brown, Burnell, Howard, Libby, Noble, Jewell, Sanborn, Usher, Riley (Wrilea), Murch, and Chadbourne.

Baldwin Historical Society (BHS)

The BHS room in the Brown Memorial Library is open for visitors on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 10AM to 2PM or by appointment.  Please call 207-625-8946 to schedule an appointment.  The BHS accepts funding donations, documents, and artifacts related to Baldwin, its families, and its past.  The BHS meets every 4th Wednesday of the month at 7PM in the Brown Memorial Library Community Room, new members are always welcome.
