Mysteries by Maine Authors – Maine Humanities Council Grant

Join us at the Brown Memorial Library for five weeks in April and May for a reading & discussion group on Mysteries by Maine Authors.  Featured will be books by authors Paul Doiron, Kate Flora, David Crossman, Gerry Boyle and Jennie Bentley.  The library has gotten a grant from the Maine Humanities Council which will supply the books for this series.  Save the dates of every other Tuesday evening in April and May:  April 5, April 19, May 3, May 17 and May 31.  To register, stop in at the library, or call us at 207-787-3155, or email BML@brown.lib.me.us.  The programs are free and fascinating!

Baldwin Page Turners Book Club

Meetings held monthly on the first Monday of the month at 10 a.m. at the home of Jane O’Connell. Adult Crafts on Saturday Mornings

Do you like to knit, crochet, weave, spin, felt or do anything else crafty?  Join us at the library on Saturday mornings, from 10 a.m. til whenever.  You bring your project(s) and we’ll supply tea and coffee.  Feel free to bring tasty snacks to enjoy as well.  

Story Times – Thurs. at 10 a.m. Jan 14, 21 & 28

Bring your little ones to listen to stories, learn songs and do crafts on three Thursday mornings in January.  Ages 18 mos through preschool; no registration necessary.  Parents/caregivers must be present to join in the fun!

Christmas Tree Lighting

The Brown Memorial Library annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Sunday, Dec. 4th 15 4 p.m.  Come sing carols, enjoy refreshments and visit with Santa Claus!
